Ever wonder why some lipsticks, eye shadows, and blushes look fabulous on your friends or other people, but when you pop it on it was like ah no. When choosing color you have to consider your skin's undertones. Color fall into three different categories, warm, cool, and neutral. Look at your inner wrist, if your veins appear blue or purple you are cool-toned. Cool colors that have blue tones will complement your skin tone. If your veins appear green, you are warm-toned. Warm colors that have red or yellow tones will complement you. If you have difficulty discerning the blue or green you have neutral undertones. You can wear a variety of warm and cool colors. Every color has a warm, cool, and neutral shade.
Importance of Blending
According to Encarta dictionary, the word blend means: to shade from one color to another without obvious transitions or boundaries. Blending is a very important factor in makeup. It defines the difference between the amateur and the professional. Use a clean fluffy brush, the size will be determined by the area you are working in. Use small circular motions to blend colors together, remove any excess makeup and remove harsh lines. Keep practicing and overtime you will get it.
Don't over Do it
